Thanks to the design of Tube 2, which spans from the 5’UTR to intron 2 and overlaps with Tube 1, full-gene phasing is achieved, resulting in unambiguous allele assignment across the entire gene. Additionally, the Noise Track (top panel) provides a visual representation of the Signal-to-Noise ratio, as well as the allelic balance between the two chromosomes.

Full set of quality control metrics available for every HLA locus

NanoTYPER provides QC metrics per locus, including key exon minimum coverage, allele imbalance, spot noise ratio, and N50 read length. These metrics ensure transparent assessment of sequencing quality and genotyping reliability across all 11 HLA genes.
