A big thank you to everyone who visited the TBG/Omixon shared booth at the APHIA event in beautiful Perth from September 14th to 16th, you rock!  It was a busy few days for Willy Hsu, representative of Texas Biogene, our main distributor in the Asia-Pacific Region, with whom were are delighted to be associated as partners for the best HLA knowledge, service, support and distribution in the region! There was no stopping for him with answering all the questions from curious participants about Omixon’s Holotype HLA kit and new research software product (still in BETA) for determining HLA genotypes from any data source, HLA Explore. Everyone was excited to gather the latest information about our products, new developments and services and Willy did a great job communicating the essentials core information and the nuances of the details of library prep and software analysis.

The Omixon team had three scientific posters discussing various aspects of HLA-typing by NGS, including one co-authored by TBG titled “Automating Holotype HLA on TBG’s DX-A™ Robot”. If you did not have a chance to read them through, you can check them out here. Next year, be prepared for the merged ASHI-APHIA event in San Francisco, CA!
