Omixon Welcomes Nina Lauterbach to Our Field Application Scientist Team in Europe

Please join us welcoming Dr. Nina Lauterbach to our Field Application Scientist Team! Nina received her Bachelor and Masters degree in Health Sciences at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Following her Masters she completed her PhD at the department of Transplantation Immunology at the Maastricht University Medical Center, where she studied the influence of HLA polymorphism on T- and NK cell functionality and transplant patient outcome. During her PhD she also worked at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Katharina Fleischhauer, studying the relevance of HLA-DP polymorphism in CD4+ T cell functionality. Since 2014 Nina worked as Technical Sales Specialist Transplant and Transfusion at Immucor, covering Belgium and the Netherlands. Nina provided technical support to all transplant customers regarding HLA typing (SSO and NGS), HLA antibody screening and identification. In her private life, she loves to travel, meeting new people, cooking and enjoying evenings with friends. Warm welcome Nina!
