Omixon is looking for a self-driven, energetic HR Manager with a HR generalist mindset who wants to turn a small startup company’s HR system into a professional HR system. We expect the new colleague to work independently but with strong collaboration of the C-level managers, to manage the day-to-day operation of a fast-growing startup company.

The Human Resources Manager manages the Recruitment process, Performance appraisal system, Training programs, ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management. You should develop to be able to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes.  You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Convert independent HR building blocks/procedures into an integrated HR system
    • Convert local Hungarian HR into a global HR – extension of the HR system to all staff members
    • Integrate corporate values into our everyday life, lead company culture initiatives
    • Active employer branding
    • Improve employee satisfaction, nurture a positive working environment
  • Operative HR
    • Develop and execute complex Global HR infrastructure
      • Manage the recruitment and selection process and incorporate company values into recruitment process
      • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
        • promote performance evaluation culture
        • work out performance bonus scheme, benefits program
        • ensure that the bonus scheme is tied with personal goals
      • Improve talent management
        • Ensure continuous training of the existing employees – Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
        • Coordinating corporate training programs with hiring and training periods and events
        • Improve “Training database/system” for planning and recording trainings
      • Lead implementation of HR Management System / Software
      • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Profile requirements

  • Proven working experience as HR manager or as HR generalist at a company of Omixon size
  • Empathetic people management style with understanding of the stresses of aggressive startup/scaling growth environment
  • HR experience in managing highly diverse ethnic and cultural colleagues
  • HR experience in working in a global company covering 10 hours’ time zone distances
  • Min 3-5 years in similar field
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Advantage: Knowledge of HR Master system and Babér payroll system
